REICHMAN

e-Services Pet Care had the fantastic opportunity to care for Reichman and his canine friend, Lucy. I remember how much fun they were to be with. As a Doberman, Reichman was the sweetest Doberman that I have ever met. His disposition was so sweet and adorable. He and Lucy were running around outside playing and both would stop to make sure that I was watching them.

Afterwards we would go into the house and just hang out, Reichman on the couch and Lucy, well she would lay wherever she could.

Reichman will be truly me missed by me and the rest of the e-Services Pet Care Team.

Below are a few words from Reichman's wonderful guardian.

For those of you who knew of him or knew and loved him, he had many fans - Reichman crossed over to wait for me at the Rainbow Bridge yesterday at 5:15pm. He was surrounded by those who loved him including Lucy. He drifted away into a sweet sleep without fear or pain.

Lucy & I had him with us for one more blessed year since his diagnosis of Cardiomyopathy. I am so grateful for that time. A total of almost 13 years (October 13th) well into old age for most big dogs - He had an event on Sunday night which looked like a seizure or a heart attack in bed next to me. He actually stopped breathing for what seemed like it would be an eternity. I grabbed him to give a hug and hold him. Right then he took one big deep breath and came back. I think his spiritual heart was so strong that he knew how hard this would be for Lucy & I.

Yesterday, he struggled a bit to breathe but I kept him as comfortable is possible. He went outside and rolled in the grass. He wanted to chase Lucy and play as per usual but wasn't able to. He had Dairy Queen ice cream (his favorite). He had all the treats he wanted. I look back on all the Reichman stories and times with such a sweet feeling of his love, loyalty to me and all those who loved him. He was such a joy to have with me for all these years. I will miss him. He was so precious to me. Hopefully, my mom will meet him and take care of him where ever they go.

When these things happen I want to tell my friends hold tight to all that is dear and count your blessings year after year.
